VOLUNTEER

Thank you for your interest in joining our volunteer program. Volunteers are valued members of our team and make a difference by providing additional services that support our patient care and comfort.

About Our
Volunteers

Hôpital Notre-Dame Hospital (Hearst) is committed in providing excellent patient/resident care. Therefore, to respect this commitment, the Hospital is happy to welcome the help from volunteers.

As an organization, we are concerned with the people’s health, which consists of the promotion of health, the prevention of illness, the patient care and also the moral support to the person in need and to his/her family. Each person has a right to life, health, human dignity and to be respected for his/her beliefs.

This assistance must be offered in an environment of peace, confidentiality, confidence and security, in order that everyone is sensitive to the feelings of the patient and to respond to his/her needs. A team spirit and good relations between the staff members and volunteers are essential to obtain this atmosphere for the patient and his/her family.
