Secretary / Receptionist at the Missinaïbi Medical Clinic in Mattice (ON)

Permanent Full-Time Position

Missinaïbi Medical Clinic in Mattice provides healthcare services to local residents, with a particular focus on accessible and quality healthcare. The clinic is dedicated to offering personalized care, collaborating with a professional medical team to meet patients’ health needs, while also integrating community support services. It strives to maintain a warm and welcoming environment for all visitors.

We are looking for a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Secretary/Receptionist. If you are a versatile person, detail-oriented, and comfortable with technology, this position might be perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and manage phone calls
  • Handle documents (scan, sort medical reports, manage paper files)
  • Schedule appointments for patients and coordinate with specialists
  • Manage OTN appointments and prepare consultations
  • Handle centrifuged blood and manage prescriptions
  • Track accounts payable and manage pharmacy payments
  • Manage the Facebook page and community posts
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the medical team

 Qualifications:

  • College diploma as Administrative Assistant or Office Administration
  • Excellent command of both French and English (spoken and written)
  • Discretion, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset
  • Experience with Meditech Expanse and Practice Solution software
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
